Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies
I have been baking these cookies for a while now, and everyone loves them. I found the original recipe on Lovin’ From the Oven. I made few adjustments to the original recipe. Here is the recipe with the adjustments I made:
1 Cup of butter
6 Tablespoons of sugar
6 Tablespoons of brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon of vanilla
1 Teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 Teaspoon of salt
8 broken Oreos
1 ¼ Cup flour1 Cup of Chocolate chips
Method
Cream the butter, add the sugar mix until combined well. Add the eggs, combine, add the vanilla. In another bowl stir the baking soda and salt in the flour. add to the butter mix and combine. Stir in the chocolate chips and Oreo.
Scoop out medium sized scoops using an ice cream scooper or a cookie dough scooper and line on baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden in a pre heated 350 degrees oven . Let them rest for few minutes before you move them. Let them cool completely if you plan to store them. Have them with a glass of milk.

My name is Akia Thomas and I was born and raised in the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Being the last of seven children, some people might say that i’m spoiled and I am in some ways….. but what i learned growing up is that what you don’t have you do without. Life was never handed to me on a silver platter [even though i’m sure i had it better than most people.. and i am grateful] but if it was I would probably be a bitch… [not saying that everyone who has the world handed to them is a bitch]. But anyways I started college right outta high school….[and I would encourage anybody who does graduate high school to go straight] but unfortunately I was tired of not having money so I went and got a job. I am now a clerical Trainee at my local Police Department.. Neat huh’!!
I am unique in every way and i refuse to be sized up and put in a category. I live to be weird and different from everyone else. If you don’t like me then hey.. no love lost.. but if you do then I will be more than happy to call you friend. I’m crazy and funny. I absolutely love my crazy ass friends.. especially my 2 bestest fwends in the whole wide world… Jahniqua and Danika <3. I Love to bake, cook, sleep, spend time with my friends and bf, watch movies, go shopping, read and have fun.
Anyways that’s me in a nut shell!!! and always remember Life is what you make it… and best believe i’m going to live mine to the fullest.. How About You? <3

My Prayers goes out to those affected by the 8.9 earthquake and pacific ocean tsunami in japan…..I know it has left many homeless.
I pray that they find refuge and can be able to rebuild themselves and over come this with the help of god at their side. #tsunami.

There was this time i went to a youth convention in St kitts. We stayed at the Mariots Hotel.
One day a guy was coming to the grand hall to register his name and the door was freshly cleaned. We was gonna tell him that it was closed but we needed a good laugh. The guy walked straight into the door an flew back an onto the ground.
Now we had a good laugh and now it was our turn to go and register. Having forgot what we jus saw me my siser and my niece all walked straight into the glass door and flew back unto the ground one on top the other, while the guy was coming out of registration he laughed so hard at us.
We were so ashamed!! #LOL
